If you have an Allstate structured settlement and think you are missing a payment you should read this.
I’m re-blogging this 2015 post (see link below) about the peculiar way Allstate Life used to issue structured settlement contracts to help annuitants and my industry colleagues and staff members who may not have been in business long enough to know. Allstate stopped writing new structured settlements in early 2013.
I am doing so after receiving a call from a Allstate Life annuitant who purportedly did not receive a payment on the life contingent part of a structured settlement that was established as part of a medical malpractice settlement in Pennsylvania when he was a minor. In searching on the internet he found the 2015 post, which was inspired by an annuitant with a similar issue.
Needless to say if you have sold Allstate structured settlement payments in the past please check to see if the missing payment is not one you have already sold.
