Just type in whatever tickles your curiosity, and if I’ve blogged about it in the past 20 years (and with 5,500 posts, there’s a good chance I have), the results will magically appear. Go ahead, give it a whirl and see what treasure you dig up!
How to Refine Your Search
Once you reach the initial results, the fun begins! You can refine your search further by jumping to the newest or oldest entries—your call. Just eyeball those column headings in the results and click whichever tickles your fancy. Work front to back, back to front, or even sideways if that’s your style. The search world is your oyster!
If you stumble across search results dated 1/1/1970, that’s when I was a spry 8 1/2-year-old, prepping for my epic journey aboard the first commercial Boeing 747 flight to London on PanAm. Clad in my Cub Scout uniform and proudly flashing my Wolf badge to dazzle my dad waiting at the other end, I was ready to rule the skies. Meanwhile, the Vietnam War rumbled on, “Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head” topped the charts, Nixon was calling the shots in Washington, and James Bond was suavely saving the world in “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service,” the one and only film starring George Lazenby as 007. Anyway, the migration from Typepad to WordPress left a few of these quirky misdates behind.
