Setting the Record Straight
Some Certified Structured Settlement Consultants (CSSC) began to be playfully mauled by The Structured Settlement Watchdog for their overinflated structured settlement credentials, with some adding comedic flair by proudly listing the wrong university as the source of their certification.
These blunders popped up on company websites and social media like LinkedIn, a digital hall of shame. I won’t name names—my embarrassment for the industry and the shrugging few is already doing enough heavy lifting.
But if YOU have interest in scavenger hunts, try Googling “CSSC Notre Dame University” or ” Certified Structured Settlement Consultant Notre Dame University”.
Tale of the Tape
- University of Notre Dame is South Bend, Indiana.
- Notre Dame University is in Zouk Mosbeh Lebanon.
- University of Texas at Austin, Macombs School
- One of them hosts the Certified Structured Settlement Consultant educational program over four days; another hosted it from the program’s inception until the pandemic began, and the other never hosted anything to do with the CSSC,
- Knut Rockne never set foot in Zouk Mosbeh, nor did Rudy Ruettiger.
- Most significant is that neither university actually awards the designation, the National Structured Settlements Trade Association does.
