She spent four years as a Financial Consultant at Salomon Smith Barney in Atlanta, before embarking on a 23 year career in the structured settlement industry in 2001 with Settlement Planning Associates and (through a series of acquisitions) Mesirow Insurance Services (2006) and Alliant Insurance Services (2016) that saw her seen as a reliable settlement consultant to national healthcare providers and their insurers.
Klingler is preceded in death by her father Peter James Klingler (2017), who worked along side Connie at SPA, Mesirow and Alliant and her mother Carole Klingler (2018).
