The name Robin Hood Funding, conjures up the inverse of what made the Robin Hood legend. The real Robin Hood hung out in Sherwood Forest, making forays to "rob from the rich and pay it to the poor".
On the other hand structured settlement factoring companies are "Hood Robins", which in general in general have the reputation of "robbing" from poor structured settlement recipients and paying it to rich investors.Perhaps a better name would have been "Dennis Moore Funding"
Nothing more needs to be said about Robin Hood Funding. But I'd love to know what "genius" made the marketing blooper of coming up with the name Robin Hood for a factoring company.
