With former Presidential candidate John Edwards' political career over due to untimely revelations about his cheating on his cancer stricken wife and the bizarre cover up, it appears that Forge Consulting CEO John T. Bair has apparently rewritten history AGAIN to state that Forge Consulting actually began in 2003 Download John Bair – LinkedIn Feb 2009 and not in 1999 as he recently promoted Download LinkedIn_ John Bair Aug 2008 .
The extensive use of purported testimonial by the former Presidential candidate in John Bair's written solicitations to New York State Trial lawyers Download Forge Feb 21 2007 letter-NY State-John Bair and by Forge Consulting in a testimonial page on its web site was questioned by this author because John Edwards stopped practicing law in 1999 (when he became a Senator) and Forge Consulting was not founded until January 2003. The manner in which the testimonial was used defied mathematical impossibility by implying that John Edwards actually used Forge Consulting for structured settlements. The reality appears to be that John Bair was merely a campaign contribution bundler for John Edwards.
It was estimated that the "testimonial was first posted on the Forge website in October 2005. Forge removed the testimonial page in July 2007 and it has not reappeared even though there were other lawyers who purportedly recommended them besides Edwards.
In August 2008 this author noted that John Bair's bio on the business social network LinkedIn "moved the chains" from 2003 back to 1999, seemingly to cover up for Edwards just before the love child scandal exploded. Bair failed then and fails now to account for a period where he did defense structured settlement work for EPS Settlements Group.
