As previously reported the 20 professional member "strong" Society of Settlement Planners included 7 factoring company representatives among its attendees at its recent annual meeting at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, Virginia.. Among those attendees was JG Wentworth, whose alter ego The Structured Settlement Alliance has a blog at www.structuredsettlementsell.com that purports to give "structured settlement quotes" and "free structured settlement quotes". I’ve already highlighted how Strategic Capital purports to do this and now, JG Wentworth! By giving tacit support to these companies the Society of Settlement Planners are like stage hands working with dry ice, an image aptly conjured up in the above picture. Dry Ice is often used to create fog effects on stage. Unfortunately for consumers this stage is their life, financially. Is The Society of Settlement Planners headed for a pratfall for their support of "artificial fog"??
