It is time to examine other examples that are not considered best practices by others in the context of structured settlement factoring advertising
Many companies are creating their own versions of “structured settlements FAQ” (frequently asked questions) that lack clarity and focus. If the information provided aligned with the expectations set by the title, it would be more acceptable.
Today’s first-page search engine results for “structured settlements FAQ” on Yahoo and Google look like a battlefield of flying tomatoes, with illegitimate ones splattered in red everywhere!

The very title “structured settlements FAQ” used by settlement factoring or settlement transfer companies is a ruse, a feigned expertise in structured settlements which only serves, like the Sirens of Greek mythology, to lure consumers onto dangerous rocks, inveigling the unwitting to transfer their structured settlement payment rights at a deep discount and shipwreck their financial plans.
The assertions that these are “structured settlements FAQ” are dubious, as, based on available information, none of these structured settlement factoring companies actually places structured settlements.
In previous posts, I have established that many individuals involved in this deception lack the required license (or licenses) to place structured settlements or secure appointments with the insurance companies that create them. My goal is to help consumers recognize these distinctions, enabling them to make more informed decisions.
Structured settlement factoring companies should consider including a clear and accurate FAQ section, like “Structured Settlement Factoring FAQ” or “Structured Settlement Transfer FAQ.” This makes it easier to explain their services without causing any confusion or being misleading.
Consumers should not be misled into clicking on their links when seeking legitimate structured settlement information that is essential for making decisions about their long-term financial security at or near the time of settlement.
If you search for “structured settlements FAQ” on a search engine like Google or Yahoo, the following FAQs should be avoided, as these companies cannot assist with the placement of structured settlements:
- J.G. Wentworth
- Ram Funding
- Northeastern Capital Funding (also a “perp” on the “structured settlement quote” front)
- Maximus Partners
- Diversified Alliance Financing
