Perhaps Clearscape should be known as Opaquescape!
As covered in my April 19, 2006 post calling for Symetra Financial to “Be Clear about Clearscape” Funding Corporation, Symetra Financial’s subsidiary engaging in the business of the purchase of the rights of people with structured settlement payments. No direct mention of either company on each other’s websites despite Clearscape Funding stating that “we are one are part of a family of companies that have been helping people like you for nearly half a century. Our life insurance company was a pioneer in the structured settlements business helping thousands of people over the last 25+ years”
Consumers want transparency. So what’s it gonna be? Clear or Opaque? That is the question!
