A DealFlow Media report on May 23, 2008 contained a material inaccuracy about the list that is yet another example of Deal Flow Media's shoddy, incomplete and poorly researched articles. DealFlow Media erroneously reports that "To qualify for the list, which is renewed annually, brokers must meet minimum qualifications, which include being licensed as a life insurer, broker, or agent in at least one state; having a current license or appointment with a life insurance company that sells structured settlement annuities; and having errors and omissions insurance". Being licensed as a life insurer is NOT one of the criteria. DealFlow Media makes no mention of the Declaration each person on the list signs under penalty of perjury.
