Structured settlement factoring lawyer Robert Ostrov is a Manchester United fan.   His comprehensive thrashing by Dina Keever early this week in Palm Beach County brings to mind October 5 1999, when  Robert Ostrov's favorite soccer team Manchester United, then reigning English Premier League Champions, was dispatched in similar fashion by Chelsea 5-0, including one own goal. Henning Berg wasn't executed in streets of Manchester that night and at least the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson accepted that his team's goose as cooked by a better team on the day.

Ostrov "throws Toys Out of Pram" After Defeat in Palm Beach Election

Robert Ostrov claimed in a message to his supporters on Facebook, in which he did not have the class to congratulate his opponent Dina Keever:

"As recently as 30 days ago, I (Ostrov) was behind in the polls by about 1%. But the last 30 days have seen a combination of outrageous voter fraud, phony endorsement mailers and a $40,000.00 television buy/attack ad, purchased two weeks ago, all of which hurt my campaign. I admit (Ostrov) am disappointed – not at having lost, but at being denied a fair chance. The whole reason I wanted to become a judge was because I believe in justice and fair play. The political system as it currently exists is broken. I urge all of you to participate in the process and do whatever you can to effect change'.

Maybe upon reflection, Robert Ostrov will realize that he was no "Eagle Scout", leaving massive omitted gaps on his Linkedin profile wasn't such a brilliant idea since it raised more questions than answers. And then there was lie about discount rates in his Peachtree days. People in glass houses…

But for his sake, there's hope for a better Manchester United season than the last.
