Bizarre testimonial by Lynn W. posted at Point Settlement Funding of Holmdel NJ
“Success at last!!! Can’t tell you how amazing it was to see $28,527 when I opened the
account with about $90 something. You guys are as good as your word! And I can’t
thank you enough, what a shame I don’t have another annuity to sell, eh?”
Hate to burst your bubble but, "oh oh oh it ain't magic".
When you sell your structured settlement or annuity you are selling your rights to future structured settlement payments at a large discount
Perhaps you like to buy things on sale, but in this case it's YOU who is giving up the discount. How do you feel about that? Or does your magnanimity to settlement purchasers know no bounds?
The structured settlement watchdog® would like to dedicate a song…
The dedication, aptly named "Magic" was a one-hit wonder for a group called Pilot*in the 1970s. Ironically the "subliminal message" on the website for Point Settlement says "Trust Pilot". To wit on the top right of the website and in the source code…https://widget.span%20style=. Freaky!
Ideally selling a structured settlement should be a "one-hit wonder". Looking at your structured settlement as a source of cash for serial transactions is a recipe for financial disaster.
*Selena Gomez covered the song on her Wizards of Waverly Place album in 2009.
