James Street, the former National Champion University of Texas quarterback and President of The James Street Group of Austin Texas has died this morning, of a heart attack
James Street, 65, then known as “Jimmy Street”, was a Texas college football legend, leading the University of Texas Longhorns to the victory over Notre Dame in the 1970 Cotton Bowl for the National Championship and, something I didn’t know until recently, he tossed two no-hitters as a member of the University of Texas baseball team during the same time period.
James Street was also a hero to many personal injury victims and founded a highly respected and successful plaintiffs structured settlement firm, involved in many state trial lawyer associations and until recent years, actively involved in the National Structured Settlements Trade Association.
4structures.com LLC sends its condolences to the Street family and industry colleagues who are members of The James Street Group
