Victorville California Daily Press reader Art Fotschky suggests that Arnold Schwarzenegger has been having some sleepless nights.
"Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and legislators must be watching too much late night television, and in particular the commercials regarding selling structured settlements, also known as the California Lottery. As J.G. Wentworth or Novation advertises, sell your structured settlement and get cash now. Don’t wait for your future structured settlement payment to trickle in.
What most of us know, that our elected leaders obviously do not, is that the sellout of a structured settlement is significantly less than the future total of the structured payment. Once again we citizens are being sold out when it comes to balancing California’s budget.

Perhaps there's a lesson to be learned by cash now pushers and enablers as to how the financial literati view what they offer as direct result of their business conduct.
