Working on a hunch that this was a "bait and switch", I called the toll- free number this afternoon and spoke with someone named Jonathan. who was a nice enough sort of chap. I inquired whether I (or anyone else for that matter) could actually get my money today (i.e this day). The unflinching answer from Jonathan was that it would take AT LEAST ONE MONTH.
Who would have thought that Novation Capital, whose Chief Executive Officer, Robin Marc Shapiro is a Harvard Law School graduate and President of the National Association of Settlement Purchasers (NASP) would practice such false and misleading advertising to consumers? What does it say about NASP as a professional association when it stinks from the very head?
It’s a pity that Novation Capital continues to set a poor example and that the other members of NASP are willing to let their collective message be soiled by the company that its President leads.
The "cash now" or "cash today" touted by many factoring companies may resonate as a made for advertising power phrase but it’s total "kaka".
