Is JG Wentworth misleading the public by stating in its recent advertising that you can call a toll free number and speak to their team of "structured settlement specialists"
What key word is missing from JG Wentworth’s "gap toothed solicitation"
to millions of America’s tort victims? …drumroll…FACTORING! (cue late 1980s era Pee Wee Herman "secret word of the day" celebration). Factoring is what JG Wentworth does, right? OR, is it possible that it has cut deals with some rogue structured settlement brokers for a quid pro quo? After all, a number of structured settlement brokers have appeared in JG Wentworth’s Present Value publication.
JG Wentworth does not appear to be insurance licensed or appointed with any structured settlement annuity market or treasury bond structure provider. JG Wentworth is in the business of factoring. Their people are structured settlement factoring specialists.
If you are a tort victim or a tort victim’s attorney please note that you CANNOT OBTAIN structured settlements from JG WENTWORTH?
Attorneys General, Consumer Advocates and Members of Congress interested in tort victims rights should make note of this misleading advertising that in similar form and substance has continued with impunity since Congress enacted the Victims of Terrorism Tax Relief Act of 2001
JG Wentworth…MIND "THE GAP"
