I don't mean your insurance license I mean the authority of your company to transact business in the State of Florida!
Any corporation doing business in Florida registers and pays an annual fee to the Secretary of State. A separate filing is necessary for a foreign (non Florida domiciled) company.
Neither firm in question is based in Florida although one of the two is known to be very active with the Florida Justice associations. Both are sponsors of the AAJ convention in Chicago and were sponsors of the AAJ Winter meetings in Miami.
