A public letter to Senator and Presidential Candidate John Edwards,
On Tuesday April 10, 2007 I received the 10th contact from your campaign seeking a contribution from me. I contributed to your 2003 primary campaign.
Please answer the question about whether you personally have engaged Forge Consulting, LLC for a structured settlement while engaged in the practice of law. The manner in which Forge Consulting, LLC is using your purported testimonial implies that you have. It raises questions since Forge Consulting was formed after you became a Senator. As recently as February 21, 2007, Forge Consulting, LLC is using your name (and the implication that you have done and are currently doing structured settlement business with them) to sell insurance products to lawyers and their clients.

I know of no other Presidential candidate who is providing such vendor endorsements. Why should I or any member of the structured settlement industry (there are over 600 highly educated registered voters…and friends) want to contribute money to your campaign or even trust you, if you can’t take the time to answer this question?
