A recent study by UK insurer, Scottish Widows, suggests that British citizens are not adequately preparing for retirement. This morning on the treadmill in London, while watching a financial segment on BBC1 citing the study, I learned that apparently many people are on a treadmill but not keeping up. According to figures cited from the study by the BBC, the number of those saving for retirement dropped from 55% to 46%. Moreover, 25% have no pension plans!
This underscores the need to consider periodical payments as part of the resolution for bodily injury cases, which can provide for a known income stream and a guaranteed return.
