If they are a leader it is not in structured settlements, it would be in settlement transfers or factoring, Even that might be in dispute as other companies could make the same claim. FICTION Novation Capital does not provide upfront cash for your structured settlement. Any upfront cash being paid as part of a structured settlement, as that term (structured settlement) is defined by the Internal Revenue Code, would be paid by the paying Defendant, or its insurance company, as part of the consideration for the settlement. FICTION Novation Capital is not a structured settlement company. A structured settlement company is a primary market company that engages in the placement or creation of new structured settlements. Novation Capital does not do this. While secondary market settlement purchasers occasionally market themselves as structured settlement companies this is most often not the case.
