The nation's largest and most obnoxious "cash now pusher" has become the target for criticism on JobVent.com, a public Internet forum that allows employees at various companies to post anonymous comments about their employers.
One J.G. Wentworth "employee" states October 2, 2009: "Given how little money you actually make, I would work at a fast food chain before this place".
Another dated December 12, 2009 states "If you get a college degree, please put it to good use and not here. Burnout is constant. You wake up and know you have to go to hell for 12 hours".
And on March 14, 2010, "Anyone taking a look at working for this company as a recent college graduate or someone with a few years of sales experience should look elsewhere. There are better jobs out there, really anything better than this. Commissions are s**t and…"
Sure makes you feel "comfortable" knowing that THESE could be the folks helping you or your clients to make life impacting decisions over their financial future, doesn't it?
On the other hand let us ponder the challenges and subtleties involved in managing and motivating a "chicken coop".
