Life insurance on the caregivers of disabled plaintiffs and minors is an important consideration in the settlement planning process. While there is a wide variety of products and plan designs to suit the needs of a particular case, some have opined that in single premium life is the way to go. Is it? John Darer, CLU ChFC CSSC RSP, a Registered Settlement Planner and life insurance expert disagrees. In this video podcast John Darer elaborates on why Single Premium Life insurance is less appropriate as a settlement planning vehicle and discusses some of the alternative forms of life insurance that may offer a better settlement planning solution.
