4structures.com, LLC has posted a useful web page which contains the phone numbers and links to every state insurance department in the United States.

Each state insurance department has a website which contains information useful to consumers, including tort victims and their families and other structured settlement stakeholders, including agents/brokers, insurers, lawyers and judges.

4structures.com, LLC  provides the  web page as a time saver for consumers and other structured settlement stakeholders because the insurance department phone numbers and links all on one page!

From the State insurance department webpages you should be able to:

  • Look up the individual who is soliciting you to see if they are licensed in your state.
  • See if the annuity issuer being propposed is admitted to do business as an insurer in your state.
  • Check on what protections areavailable to insurance consumers. There are also a number of questions concerning insurance product protections that agents/brokers would like to help you with but the agents/brokers may not be permitted to answer under different state insurance laws. Those who have such questions are encouraged to direct their questions to the relevant insurance department in their state.

The 4structures.com, LLC website also contains a useful list of the customer service phone numbers of structured settlement annuity issuers.

The list includes both current and former structured settlement annuity issuers. If you have a structured settlement that was established many years ago and you need a form or have a question, you can stop struggling to find contact information. The 4structures.com webpage linked above contains other useful customer service details and additional that may be helpful, such as instances where the original annuity issuer has changed its name due to merger or branding choice.
