A number of factoring industry companies have glossaries. The purpose of a glossary is to "decode" what industry terms mean to the lay person.
I am particularly bemused by the glossaries on offer by Imperial Structured Settlements and JG Wentworth. Neither Imperial Structured Settlements nor JG Wentworth includes the following important terms in their glossary:
- Structured Settlement Factoring Transaction
- Structured Settlement Servicing
That's like a shopping glossary missing the term "credit card".
I don't know if it speaks to the type of prospect that does "an average of more than two" financial crack deals but apparently a "horny" coloring book page was deemed more important than educating the public by the JG Wentworth media boffins.
