Fairfield Funding has an "A-" from the Better Business Bureau. But perhaps not for long.
You see Fairfield Funding, the less than one year old cash now pusher out of Atlanta Georgia, is not going to win too many friends using the URLs of several structured settlement broker websites in Sponsored Google Adwords solicitations to steer traffic to Fairfield Funding's site for "cash now" financial crack.
As you can see from the following links the ads were carefully targeted and specifically developed with the title of the ad being the settlement broker's URL. Not only that, Google is making money on this each time someone clicks on the ad.

I've done a quick scan around the structured settlement industry and the aforementioned sites are the only ones that appear to be affected. It pays to be vigilant when you have a website, to protect it from scrapers, and worse.

To discourage this sort of behavior it may be worth dropping a line to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Metro Atlanta, Athens & NE Georgia (Atlanta, GA) where you can file a complaint about advertising. As a structured settlement watchdog this author filed the following complaint on line.
"The company appears to have purchased Google Adwords for the URLs of 4 structured settlement brokerage firms. The ads state the URL's of the unrelated firms but clicking on the link brings the consumer to Fairfield Funding. This appears to be dishonest and deserves a BBB investigation. A company that has the BBB A- rating should not be engaging in this type of behavior. I intend to notify the principals of the 4 companies affected".
"(1) As the structured settlement industry watchdog I'd like to to see Fairfield Funding remove the Google Adwords and refrain from such behavior and notify me in writing that it has been completed.
(2) What ever remedy the 4 affected firms desire".
