Structured Settlements 4Real®Blog 2026

Structured settlements expert John Darer reviews the latest structured settlements and settlement planning information and news, and provides expert opinion and highly regarded commentary. that is spicy, Informative, irreverent and effective for over 20 years.

321 Henderson, an alter ego of JG Wentworth, based in Henderson, Nevada makes outrageous claims in its advertising on the Internet

Here's a sample:

" Guiding the structured settlement industry for over ten years"

Completely and utterly false  and misleading advertising. They are not in the structured settlement industry, not a member of the National Structured Settlement Trade Association or even patron of the association that takes money from specialty finance companies that buy plaintiffs' structured settlement payment rights at a deep discount, the Society of Settlement Planners.

The Nevada Secretary of State has a Corporate entity look up. I plugged in 321 Henderson, found several entities listed starting with 321 Henderson, but the Nevada Secretary of State does not show any 321 Henderson entity in existence prior to 2001. Seems to me that unless there was another state registration that's a maximum that's only 5 years of existence for 321 Henderson. Hmm…

As an aside you'll see that one of the officers has an address at the Bryn Mawr, PA address of JG Wentworth.

Interesting discovery. One of 321 Henderson entities, 321 Henderson Recievables (sic) Structured Settlements Corporation, is shown as having had its license revoked in 2004

" The past present and future of the structured settlement industry"

321 Henderson had nothing to do with the inception of the structured settlement industry, it is not part of the present. Factoring companies are not part of the structured settlement industry. Moreover, the manner in which it is conducting itself it is blowing opportunities for other factoring companies who do not make such outrageous claims and is surely inviting regulatory attention as well as litigation in its future.

The 321 Henderson registration form it uses to solicit for brokers states  "**321 Henderson reserves the right to review all applications before acceptance as a registered broker. By registering, ALL registered brokers agree to transact business in an ethical, honest and moral manner"

If that isn't the pot calling the kettle black!

Apparently the goal of JG Wentworth and its related companies is a hostile takeover and total domination  of the structured settlement industry through blitzkrieg advertising. And, like the last entity to use the blitzkrieg 66+ years ago, they will ultimately be defeated.
