Joseph E. Gargan, Jr was granted compassionate release from prison in October 2022. Gargan abused the trust placed in him by the United States by purloining millions from the United States government and its taxpayers, money that was intended for injury victims, many of them minors and additional funds from a Westchester County New York hospital meant for a minor’s settlement.
