More structured settlement factoring industry sleaze.

Genex Capital's SSQ is "Dudley Do Wrong" in Measuring Themselves Against The Competition.

For example when comparing skiil sets and expertise (live as of February 7, 2018  11am EST):

  • "When an individual calls Settlement Capital (a competitor of Genex Capital), who do they speak with? Matt Bracy? No, they speak with a sales representative who most likely has very little experience in the insurance industry.
  • When an individual calls Settlement Quotes, they will speak with James Spelling, an individual with 20 years of insurance and structured settlement experience".

Genex Capital acquired the website in November 2011 and relaunched a re branded site in July 2012. The SSQ website has been used to generate leads using, in part, by employing a strategy of brandjacking its competitors as I've previously chronicled.

Why is James Spelling an Example of Genex Capital's False Advertising?

  • James Spelling is not a real person.
  • Genex Capital, via SSQ, is continuing to promote someone who is not even real on its consumer facing website in 2018.
  • James Spelling is an admitted alias of David Springer, the Mt Airy Faker, who also ran what a Maryland Federal judge characterized as a "purported company", called Sovereign Funding Group. David Springer admitted to his James Spelling  alias among 6 or 7 others in a deposition under oath, in June 2013, in a legal action that ultimate resulted in a judicial finding that Springer ("James Spelling") was liable and ordered to pay monetary damages.
  • In this Facebook screen capture, "James Spelling" claimed to have worked for Sovereign Funding, a company for which Springer testified he was the sole employee. Download James.spelling Facebook david springer admitted fabricating James spelling sovereign funding group
  • A Missouri based consultant working for a contractor to Sovereign Funding and directly with Genex Strategies, provided me with a screen shot captured from of the Sovereign Funding Outlook in May 2012, which clearly showed the inbound leads from SSQ came to David Springer.
  • It is indisputable that David Springer created numerous social media profiles that were used to deceive consumers.
  • David Springer's Linkedin profiles are noted for multiple and inconsistent revisions to his job history which cast in doubt the veracity of what is contained therein. If Genex claims through SSQ that Spelling (Springer) has 20 years of experience they may want to look over Springer's Linkedin's and sort things out.
  • This isn't the first time I've pointed out the outdated or false information on Genex Capital's property.
  • This isn't the first instance that Genex Capital's SSQ has promoted one of David Springer's fake identities.
  • David Springer posted a Rip Off Report in 2016,  that complained of a company that it paid a large amount of money to to create fake social media likes

You get my drift…
