Surf’s up in Los Angeles, as a privately registered website masquerading as a company serves up an homage to “nincompoops” called “What is a Cash Annuity?” There is no such thing as a cash annuity.
To bewilder people more than they themselves are bewildered CashInYourAnnuity(dot)com (CIYA) includes the following misleading explanation
“The Cash Annuity in a Nutshell”
“A cash annuity is a fixed amount of money that is awarded to someone over a pre-determined length of time. Rather than receive all of the money at once which is commonly referred to as a “lump sum,” many plaintiffs choose to receive more of their settlement through spaced out payments which are non-taxable. This allows people to get more money from their claim.”
