Corrupt former structured settlement broker, Wesley Michael Woodyard (a/k/a Mike Woodyard), formerly associated with Ringler Associates of North Texas is set to be tried beginning December 19, 2016 for his alleged role in defrauding the London insurance market. Now a 90 day continuance was granted by the judge today so that Woodyard’s public defender can determine whether Woodyard should plead guilty or whether an effective defense can be built. Woodyard spent a year on the lam evading the law before he was captured in Minnesota, arrested and extradited to Texas in June.
