Peelable Rotting Flesh and Business Card
To illustrate how low some cash now pushers will go, cash now pusher Aikman Structured Finance LLC sent me a FEDEX box days after my mother died unexpectedly last month, featuring a toy zombie whose packaging proclaims that you can “peel off the rotting flesh”. It was part of a macabre marketing scheme accompanied by Tim Aikman’s business card.
Is there nothing sacrosanct in the scummy world of settlement purchasers?
Tim Aikman is not someone who I would choose to refer settlement purchasing business to now or ever. Whether or not he knew of my mother’s death, or that I discovered her 36 hours post mortem, the Boca Raton CEO’s actions speak of an insensitive jerk who clearly lacks good judgment.
There are other settlement purchasers who exuded way more class than Tim Aikman in the same circumstances.
