Einstein Structured Settlements is actively targeted and solicited Connecticut residents with structured settlements, despite not having an active registration with the Connecticut Secretary of State.

Einstein structured settlements' has created web pages,  in a usabuyers sub directory, for just about every major city and town in Connecticut and target Connecticut citizens who may be unaware that  the company is not even registered to do business in the state.  Einstein has operated under a similar strategy in New York as I reported in November. From what I can see, Einstein is employing the strategy in other states to try and take advantage of local search.

In addition to the above,  Einstein structured settlements has employed unfair trade practices such as the rampant brandjacking of its competitors,   falsely implying that the competitors are scam companies. Einstein floods the internet with content that is often filled with inaccurate (sometimes grossly inaccurate) information. One of  the most shameful things that Einstein structured settlements has done is to falsely promote Ryan Einstein's academic credentials, even making the outrageous claim he had a graduate degree from Yale. In addition Einstein posted fake testimonials in October 2012 before it had actually done any business. One in particular falsely implies that a Florida judge would approve the sale of a structured settlement  to buy a Bentley and oceanfront property in Miami.  Rescue Capital, another factoring operation with connections to the primary market matched our skepticism at the time on its own blog.

As a credentialed financial professional and widely recognized expert in structured settlements I would not recommend that Connecticut citizens engage with any company that is not actively registered to do business in the state of Connecticut.

If you have contacted Einstein Structured Settlements or received an unsolicited call "out of the blue" from Einstein Structured Settlements and you live in Connecticut please contact John Darer, the Structured Settlement Watchdog®.  We are most interested in the names (or possible aliases) of the people who are calling you or answer the phone when you call Einstein. Pay attention to the telephone numbers in your caller ID.  If you have done a deal that originated with Einstein in Connecticut and have a copy of the transfer agreement and supporting papers that would be helpful. It is public record so don't feel intimidated. Bear in mind if Einstein Structured Settlements is acting as a broker for other funders we want to know that as well.
