Mt Airy’s David Springer Admitted to Cloaking To Drive Traffic to Sovereign Funding Group

by Structured Settlement Watchdog®

In elaborating,  Jackson spilled the beans about:

  • how David Springer “got sandboxed when Traffic Power did redirects for him years ago”
  • how David Springer “admitted to me (Jackson) the first time we (Jackson and Springer) spoke on the phone regarding cloaking** ie trying to drive traffic to SFG through his weird redirect scheme”

He also wrote that David Springer and Roger Proctor are involved in Solid Funding, Quote Me  A Price, SSQ, Genex and Sovereign Funding Group (“which David claims to to certain people he claims to be selling”).

In elaborating, Nick Jackson wrote:

  • “even if the system if(sic) somewhat rigged, 99% of the people are getting more money. That doesn’t justify the methods of all the different sites and David’s stupidity outside of that”.
  • “As I said before, he’s (Springer) asked me to lie which I refused”
  • ” Several names connected to his sites are made up from what I can tell and judging by him asking me to lie to the BBB before. There was a fight between us over it” [ Note: David Springer admitted to to fabricating names and providing false information to the Better Business Bureau during his deposition 13 months later, on June 28, 2013]

On a direct question “is SSQ rigged among related companies, or is it truly open bidding?”, Jackson stated in writing:

Roger (Proctor) and him (Springer) have a system. So yes bidding is more or less rigged. Let me try to explain in my next email. As far as David explained it he brought Andrew (Cravenho) on board and David in some way expanded his relationship with Roger when JG (Wentworth) sued him. Woodbridge he claimed would blow over”  [Notes: Woodbridge v David Springer was set for trial in May 2014, but was put over and finally went to trial in August 2014 in Baltimore MD ]

Regarding David Springer, Nick Jackson wrote

” He’s looking very hard to start fresh under a new guise by using (h)is existing sites that he pretends he has nothing to do with as proxies”

Cloaking is commonly referred to as a black hat or unethical, SEO practice. Cloaking consists of deceiving search engine crawlers by directing them to web pages that are not actually visible on the domain that the crawlers are trying to analyze. Usually, these false pages are loaded with keyword rich terms

Cloaking works when a hidden web page is armed with a CGI script that scans the IP address of incoming visitors. If the IP address is determined to be that of a regular human user, then they will be directed to the home page of the site. However, if the cloaking page determines the visitor to be a crawler, then they will direct it to a page loaded with keywords and optimized content designed to trick the crawler into believing the site is of more value than it is, and thus award it a higher ranking.

Cloaking is similar to doorway pages, in that it is a practice used solely for the purpose of SEO marketing. The pages represented by cloaking serve no actual purpose, and are of no use or benefit to the average user. Therefore cloaking is seen as spamdexing, and will usually be punished by search engines.
