Witnesses Mar, Laird(y) and Kehrli Prevented from Testifying in Executive Life of New York Hearing

Yesterday was "soitenly" not a "nyuk-nyuk-nyuk" for ELNY shortfall victims as New York State Supreme Court Judge John M. Galasso denied the introductions of more witnesses to be put on by attorney Edward Stone and placed objections of ELNY victims under seal.  According to Patrick Hindert the following witnesses were due to be called by Stone:

  • Marshall Sterman – a forensic accountant
  • Laird Zacheis – a consulting actuary.
  • Ronald Kehrli – former Chief Executive Officer of ELNY prior to ELNY entering Rehabilitation.
  • Corwin K. Zass – an expert actuary.
  • Thomas Gober – a forensic accountant and insurance fraud investigator.

On the plus side no one had their eyes gouged out or had a handsaw dragged across their scalp. Closing arguments are set for today.
