ELNY structured settlement annuitants will be receiving their benefit notices this week, weekend or early next week. Included in it will be a questionnaire. Download ELNY Address Update Questionnaire January 7 2012 Deadline If you are receiving or are due to receive benefits from an ELNY structured settlement annuity it's critical to make sure that administrators have address information that is accurate.
Given that Executive Life Insurance Company of New York has not underwritten annuities for more than 20 years, it is possible that ELNY settlement annuitants are no longer living in New York State. Some may have even moved multiple times or changed names.
The National Organization of Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Associations is in the process of updating ELNY’s records in order to ensure a smooth transition to the Restructuring Agreement described in the enclosed material. VERY IMPORTANT! To ensure that you receive all the benefits you will be entitled to receive under the Restructuring Agreement, including coverage and benefits being provided by the state life and health insurance guaranty associations, you will need to confirm the information requested in the questionnaire and return it in the self-addressed stamped envelope included with your benefit letter by January 7, 2012.
