Laing recognizes the risk, but states that for those willing to take some (risk), "there are fewer better bets than buying the stock in Hartford Financial Services Group". Barron's then pats itself on the back for the 14% gain the stock posted Monday February 2, 2009. Or is it simply the case of the "Simsbury Sam" not seeing his shadow?
