A company called E-Promos proudly displays Peachtree Settlement Funding's holiday mailer. which it claims "it prepared and sent the mailer to 21,000 potential new Peachtree clients".
As many settlements include a confidentiality clause what's up with this? Since there was apparently a record response, this was obviously a targeted hit!
—Where did these names come from?
Are some ethically challenged annuity issuing companies selling their clients' names?
Are some ethically challenged structured settlement brokers selling ther clients' names?
Are some ethically challenged settlement planners selling their clients' names?
Are some ethically challenged lawyers selling their clients' names?
Is someone sniffing Court records for this information, paid for by factoring companies or their marketing companies?
Any of the above through a list broker?
Given Peachtree Settlement Funding's "bargain" discount rates you could say it was a "killer" Christmas for tort victims financial security.
