Quote Me A Price (QMAP) is one of the two factoring exchanges in place to help consumers get better deals if they find themselves in financial hardship and have exhausted all other options. It is impossible to have  a fair bidding system unless all members adhere to an ethical bidding standard.

QMAP says it holds it's funding partners to the highest possible standards of good faith no fee bids, and participating vendors who breach this agreed good faith no fee bidding will be banned from participating on the Quote Me A Price.com website.

Apparently QMAP noticed that JG Wentworth retail reps have been instructing clients to "Not Award" items  as it claims to be able to beat any written offer. In this way it was simply using QMAP and apparently not playing by the rules. The company is known in the factoring industry for not coming in with their best numbers. The scuttlebutt is that the only way a consumer will see the best numbers is if there is competition. Many consumers needlessly hurt themselves by not shopping around. No competition simply gives JG Wentworth bloated excess.

Well that is odd because I received a message from JG Wentworth today on QMAP.
    Here is the message:
“I would be happy to provide you with a quote on this policy. Please contact me directly at this point to discuss your offer. I work in a highly specialized branch of JGW and ask you to sue the number below to contact myself exclusively. Thank you. Eric Ronan. 800-535-0195”
When I talked to a representative from another company they showed me an email dated Saturday I believe from QMAP sent out to all the Vendors on QMAP stating that JG Wentworth was kicked out of their system.
Apparently QMAP is not telling the truth to anyone. I bet JG Wentworth will not have many nice things to say about this company now.
BTW here is my payment stream info $5795 per month until 2025 from GE Capital. The quote they provided me was $600,000. I’ve been quoted $200,000 higher elsewhere.

George, you are doing the right thing by shopping around. One of the major complaints about JG Wentworth is that it capitalizes on those who do not shop their quotes.

I notice in your comments section a certain Mr Filler claims to have an offer of $800,000 for his GE Capital payment stream – $5795 per month through to 2025. May I suggest that if this is true Mr Filler should accept the deal as it appears to be too good to be true. An open market bid price closer to $600,000 seems to be more accurate.
