Quote Me A Price (QMAP) is one of the two factoring exchanges in place to help consumers get better deals if they find themselves in financial hardship and have exhausted all other options. It is impossible to have a fair bidding system unless all members adhere to an ethical bidding standard.
QMAP says it holds it's funding partners to the highest possible standards of good faith no fee bids, and participating vendors who breach this agreed good faith no fee bidding will be banned from participating on the Quote Me A Price.com website.
Apparently QMAP noticed that JG Wentworth retail reps have been instructing clients to "Not Award" items as it claims to be able to beat any written offer. In this way it was simply using QMAP and apparently not playing by the rules. The company is known in the factoring industry for not coming in with their best numbers. The scuttlebutt is that the only way a consumer will see the best numbers is if there is competition. Many consumers needlessly hurt themselves by not shopping around. No competition simply gives JG Wentworth bloated excess.
