I heard that a senior marketing person at one of the structured settlement factoring (transfer) companies, that buys annuitant’s structured settlement payment rights, scoured all 40 pages of its web site in response to my “Dreams advertising” bash and  purportedly told my source that she found only one “dreams” mention. That’s one too many!

What this person completely missed was that the company ranks high in Internet search results for “structured settlement quote” because they intentionally aimed for that keyword phrase. Classic move! Ha Ha!

Moreover this company had to have programmed (or consented to have programmed) its web pages to come up in such a search of “structured settlement quote (name of state)” on a major search engine  with neither a certificate of authority to transact business in the state queried, nor an insurance or banking license in that state. In my opinion they may face much bigger problems. This factoring company is one of many that are on the radar screen in this particular state alone!

I also see a similar pattern of behavior in other states!

If you are factoring or transfer company soliciting business from annuitants with structured settlement payment rights you need to change your structured settlement advertising behavior
