Yesterday it was SSQ sending a letter offering money to an executive at an insurance company in exchange for structured settlement factoring referrals. Today it is libeling four structured settlement brokers by calling them structured settlement factoring companies on a review page:

  • 4structures.com, LLC
  • Atlas Settlement Group, Inc.
  • Creative Capital, Inc.
  • Evergreen Structured Settlements, LLC

None of these companies are structured settlement factoring companies.

These people are woefully uninformed or simply trying to harm the aforementioned companies' businesses. Why were these 4 companies singled out for the list and not others?

It is believed that Andrew Cravenho sold his interest in the on line platform and  the domain name to an individual or group that involves Roger Proctor, CEO of Genex Capital. Proctor's name (and Genex)was listed as the sales contact and Boris Drubestky, another Genex employee was listed as a principal the Better Business Bureau report for SSQ before it was recently changed.Download SSQ BBB w Genex and SSQ LLC ref

It is therefore not surprising that Genex Capital has a 5 star rating on SSQ's "Structured Settlement Factoring Company Reviews". The company also registers its domain with a domain privacy service.

This author has not referred business to Structured Settlement Quotes, Inc. and will not do so until it is transparent about which companies are its certified funders and who owns them. In February 2012 this author received information that suggested that the marketplace was not as broad as advertised. I want to see the proof. If it is then fair enough. There are also companies, in the structured settlement factoring business whose I would never want to refer my clients, or a random caller to under any circumstances.

Furthermore the company which lists its office as Hartford CT on its website does not appear to have registered with the Connecticut Secretary of State, Download SSQ CT Sec State search  Download SSQ CT Sec State search

I used to refer business to SQ  Settlement Quotes, LLC, which was run by Andrew Cravenho until about July 2011, for no compensation.  On one occasion in a 4 year business relationship, Cravenho offered to make a $1,000 donation to a charity of my choice.  Such donation was made to Aircraft Casualty Emotional Support Services  (ACCESS), a charity that provides grief counseling to survivors of airline accidents, matching up survivors to others who have suffered similar losses, a worthy cause.

It's clear to me judging by their recent conduct that the current management of SSQ will not be discreet when it suits their business interests. Others can draw their own conclusions.

Postscript 8/28/2012  Two of the four names were removed from the list after those companies' principals learned of SSQ's actions from The Structured Settlement Watchdog® in mid-July 2012.

In June 2015, following conclusion on litigation against it by Woodbridge Structured Funding, Genex Capital was muscled into disclosing what it had been tried to conceal, its ownership of  SSQ.
