But when it comes to making bids to potential sellers of structured settlement payment rights, the bidding needs to be fair and transparent. If you're promised a minimum number of bids for your structured settlement payments and the bidders consist of Fred, Barney, Wilma, Betty, Pebbles and Bam Bam, how do you know you getting the prime cut of the stegosaurus burger? What if the auctioneer fails to disclose these relationships?

It is conceivable that there will be litigation over this issue in the future.
