What a sorry figure Patrick Hindert casts on Halloween. In a mistitled post entltled "NSSTA 2008 Fall Meeting-2", a meeting he admitted that he did not attend (save several committee meetings and scarfing down crudites at an opening reception) former NSSTA President and Executive Director of the Society of Settlement Planners continues to bash AIG as if he really believes his readership will actually bring down the company.
Hindert is years away from being a producer or managing general agent yet he deems it relevant to over generalize in bashing other active seasoned professionals with considerably more shelf life. His irrelevance is such that he must stoop to consulting an association substantially composed of financial crack dealers, who were demonically characterized as "structured settlement thought leaders" by Hindert earlier this year.
So Hindert has joined the AIG hacky sack dance of the disgruntled, and bashes AIG for not doing enough (he states "actually exhibiting ignorance" about settlement transfers (the end result of the financial crack dealer's caper) or opposing (single) claimant 468B funds, among other things.
The profession of settlement planning is being done a massive disservice by associate NSSTA member and former NSSTA President and Society of Settlement Planners Executive Director Patrick Hindert, in my opinion. Any efforts that the NSSTA makes to clarify its message directly conflicts with associate NSSTA member Hindert's actions with the cash now pushers and leaves NSSTA vulnerable and less credible.
