Can the victims of the Executive Life Insurance Company of New York (ELNY) insolvency possibly handle any more irony? The incredible sense of timing of those affecting their future continues.

First the deadline to record their objection to the ELNY Liquidation plan was on the birthday of the man who shouted "I Have a Dream", a national holiday.

Then the ELNY Liquidation hearings were scheduled for the "Ides Of March"

Now, just as the Ides have come and gone,  in another incredibly unfortunate sense of timing, Judge John Galasso, who denied the testimony of "Mar, Laird(y) and Kehrli" a few weeks ago**.  has dropped  the Nassau County guillotine on or about the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic,  the 23 rd anniversary of the Hillsborough Disaster (not to mention the 5th anniversary of the Virginia Tech massacre). I don't mean to be righteous brother, but coincidence highlights that victims HAVE NOT lost  "that sinking feeling" and needless to say some are financially  "crushed".

**  whose testimony, if allowed, would have coincided with the release of the new The Three Stooges movie.
