Allstate Insurance Company has been using the tag line " You're in Good Hands" or the "Good Hands People" for as long as I can remember.
A quick search of the United States Patent and Trademark Office records show a number of registrations for trademarks using the "Good Hands" theme including "You're in Good Hands" Download Allstate Youre In Good Hands TM Reg.
This makes it all the more surprising that J.G Wentworth would use " You're in Good Hands" as an advertising theme involving the disposition of insurance products such as annuities and structured settlements. Allstate's trademark appears to cover among other things " the administration of annuities".
J.G. Wentworth is, among other things, a servicer of annuities. On the structured settlement side of things Allstate provides liquidity to annuitants through its Advanced Funding Exchange Notice (AFEN). J.G. Wentworth provides liquidity to annuitants as the country's biggest "cash now pusher".
What in the hell is J.G. Wentworth doing?
