The National Association of Settlement Purchasers moves out of the shadows and onto the Internet with a website. Well sort of.
At the time of the publication of this blog, the site was very rudimentary the only content being links to the two Earl Nesbitt interviews from Legal Broadcast Network, one of which (Part 2) supports the case that "Cash Now" is a fraudulent advertising practice. That the content is limited to Earl Nesbitt is not a shock in that he is the registrant of the domain of the web site.
A regularly updated and more content rich NASP website however, would be useful so that the two separate industries of structured settlements and settlement factoring can be more clearly defined for consumers, attorneys, judges, the mainstream press.
