There are many things to love about Spain, the people, the culture, the food, the wine, La Primera Liga. Then we have the "Spanish Flea" Francisco Segura, a member of the structured settlement illiterati who has penned a piece of gibberish called "Take The Structured Settlement Annuity Option Today" on, you guessed it, a blog on Google Blogspot (a/k/a "Blogsnot" for its "green structured settlement experts"). While i would normally be warm to such a title, the content of the article suggests that "the Spanish Flea" Francisco Segura is completely clueless on the subject.
- The title is not consistent with his message
- Francisco Segura confuses retirement savings with structured settlements. Retirement annuities are not structured settlement annuities. Structured settlement annuities can however, address retirement needs and longevity concerns, address college education and the like
- Francisco Segura ignores the fact that one of the prime fears of retirees and seniors is running out of income. Consider that people are living longer not shorter. If you take money now and just spend it what will you do in the future? Click the highlighted text for more information about seniors, retirees and structured settlements .
The best advice from "The Spanish Flea", even though he is off HIS message, is "there are quite a few companies who specialize in structured settlement annuity options, you need to make sure that the company is a genuine one, before you enter into any kind of deal".
My caveat is that since there are quite a few writers on the Internet who claim to specialize in structured settlements or structured settlement annuity options, you need to make sure that the writer is genuine, is qualified as an expert authority on the subject (i.e. has bona fides, is licensed, recognized in the trade) , before you take their advice.
- A website that is peppered with Google Adsense ads is a good clue that the site may be simply "made for Adsense") and the author may not be qualified.
- If there is no address or contact information that is another clue
- If the website comes from a blogspot.com address chances are very high that information therein is not from a bonafide structured settlement qualified source.
- If the author is Mark Benedict Young or Felicitas Tan (believed to be fictitous names or "sock puppets") simply ignore. In my opinion these people (or their alter egos) are the two worst misinformed content spammers at the moment.
