Together with a few other structured settlement producers I received an email on Friday which opened with "My name is Tamas Venczli, and my site is Structured Settlement Forum.
(www.structuredsettlementforum.com)". He was seeking reciprocal links to help promote his site. As we shall see he needs us and we don’t need him.
Red Flags Number One and Two-Make no mistake.This is a splog. There is no original content, it’s littered with pay per click ads touting factoring and it’s an obvious shill for the dastardly Structured Settlement Alliance.
The first thing I did was to check the ownership of this website at CoolWhois and discovered that Tamas Venczli is based in Csepreg, Hungary. Red Flag Number Three- US based sploggers are bad enough, yet as we’ve seen with the MIcrosoft litigation against Utah sploggers John Jonas and Dan Goggins,enforcement is possible. Unless you believe the long arm of the law reaches to Csepreg, Hungary, a town of 3,500 inhabitants in Western Hungary, stay away.
Tamas Venczli is not an authority on structured settlements. I don’t recall seeing him at any trade associaion meetings. I don’t believe that he’s licensed or appointed as a structured settlement broker. Hungary does not have structured settlements which, as an aside, is unfortunate for its citizens who get into accidents.
Tamas Venczli offers nothing of value to consumers seeking relevant information about structured settlements. He is simply trying to make money by tossing some links together, using the intellectual capital of others and hoping that a few suckers click on the ads which litter structuredsettlementforum.com so that some money can come back to Csepreg.
The one comic aspect of the solicitation that I and others received from Venczli is that he copied his email to John Liedke a persona non grata splogger from the deep south. Shows how little he knows. Enough said.
