Imagine being in your 80s and learning that the "safe IRA investment" sold to you by a credentialed insurance agent with no securities or advisory license, was part of the Woodbridge Ponzi scheme. A Delaware couple contacted me yesterday. The husband is 88 years old. They say they were not accredited investors They invested under $100,000 in the Woodbridge scheme. They're skeptical that they will receive full recovery and it breaks ones heart to hear the wife say they wonder if both of them will live long enough to see a recovery. That's not the way it's supposed to be.
