I learned that a staunch plaintiff advocate is referring structured settlement factoring business to J.G. Wentworth. That such an advocate is patronizing a company that does so much to confuse consumers in our industry is an absolute disgrace! In the best interests of our industry, members of NSSTA and even The Society of Settlement Planners would be wise to shun J.G. Wentworth until they change their tune. In my opinion, those of us in the industry who learn of such patronage should look upon such members with disdain.
If you have a person in need, who you have determined has exhausted other reasonable possibilities, and you feel compelled to refer such business, have the intelligience to refer factoring business to those that are helping to define separate structured settlement and factoring industries with clear definitions and terms for consumers.
