Great article in Sports Illustrated about Kawhi Leonard, the 24 year old small forward for the San Antonio Spurs who recently signed a $94M contract extension, but has accomplished the "im-posse-ble". According to the article, written by Lee Jenkins, Kawhi Leonard often drives a rehabbed '97 Chevy Tahoe, nicknamed Gas Guzzler, which he drove across Southern California's Inland Empire as a teenager. "It runs," Leonard explains, "and it's paid off."
Second, he needs coupons to get wings. Again…five years, $94 million.
Maybe you would live life a little differently, but if you have a structured settlement and don't need cash now then you can "score three points" on what Kawhi Leonard is doing.
